The McKinney ISD OverDrive Digital Library provides two free downloads from your choice of audio books or ebooks available in the collection. To log in, use your student ID with a small "s" in front of it for the user name. Your password is your 8 digit birthday. An example of the password is a student born on January 3, 1996; their password would be 01031996. You may find a popular selection is checked out but it can be put on hold for you to receive when the time allowed expires for the previous patron. Check out times run about two weeks after which the selection should expire in your device. If you are looking for a classic, there is an extensive collection of books that are always available including titles from Shakespeare to Dickens. Several of the required reading titles will be available through this service. The library can assist you with any questions that you may have regarding this exciting technology.
